    Yes, eventually. We took a set out of Powerflex ones out of a Golf 4 4Motion a few weeks back which we had fitted at least 10 years ago and they were worn although these now have internal knurling to hold the very special Silicone grease they now use. If the bar is rusty under the bushes, it will grind any make of bush away very quickly.
