    Default Door hinge – 17-05-2022,04:27 PM
    My drivers door has dropped a bit and it seems to be the top hinge.
    Elsa states part of the hinge remains attached.
    Can the pins be replaced?
    A quick google does not throws up a couple of 2nd hand ones but anew one has a stud attached?!?!

    erwin only seems to catalogue the type fitted to armoured cars are they the same?


    Has anyone fixed or replaced one?

    The upper hinge is 8E0 831 402 B and costs £17.06 from Audi or TPS.
    Anthropogenic climate change, the biggest con inflicted on mankind since religion...

    I will get one ordered up - guessing i need it painted also. Rattle can required - I have a few spots to touch up until i can get my mini back on the road and the A6 in the body shop for a week.

    VAG do nice rattle can base and clear kits for about £18, they are ideal for things like hinges, door mirrors and fuel flaps.
