Not cranking BKC

Hello I have a BKC engine Touran (same as mk 5)

Basically it would crank really slow sometimes (like a dead battery, and sometimes not at all, this has been going on 3 weeks, the battery was poor showing 11.5v so I replaced it, it’s slowly got worse, today it will not crank at all (bumps fine). I’ve cleaned the main earth, and copper slipped and replaced, checked the live. Are these prone to the starter giving up, slow cranking has slowly got worse. Are there any other wires that can break?

When I held the key over on crank for about three seconds, I could smell an electrical burning from under the bonnet (solenoid??) Andy thing to test ?

It won’t crank at all now,
Not even a click.

Could well be a seized starter, especially if it is made by Valeo.
