You can get them from a VW main dealers parts department for the same price as you would pay at TPS, part number 06A 905 115 D and £55.18 each including VAT. MY Octavia VRS uses the same part and I will only run genuine.

Thank you! Ive found some on Awesome's website for just shy of 200 for a set ( here Genuine VAG Ignition Coil Pack Set 1.8T 150/180/210/225 - Awesome GTI - Volkswagen Audi Group Specialists) BUT ive also found this set labelled "OEM" from GTI for nearly half the price, anything iffy about this second set or am I missing something? (Second set OEM Red Ignition Coil Pack Set 1.8T 150/180/210/225 - Awesome GTI - Volkswagen Audi Group Specialists)

    Thanks!

OEM means Original Equipment Manufacturer so a company that makes parts for a car maker, could be anyone so not genuine VW but genuine must mean genuine otherwise it is a trade descriptions offence and Awesome would not do that. The only downside of buying them this way is you do not get the VW dealer backed two year parts and labour warranty.
