    Hello,
    I have a fault with my 2010 a6 2.7tdi avant.
I changer the xenon high/ low beam bulbs on Monday. I took the car out for a spin on Monday night to see how the new bulbs preformed. I had driven for around an hour and stopped the car for a while. When I tried to start the car it would trim over but wouldn't start.
An esp fault came up on the dash. The heater plug sysn bol is flashing and the battery symbol is also on the dash
I had to get recover to home and by the AA. The engineer tried to get me going before hand.
He hooked up his pc and fault p0641 c
I have fitted a new battery which made no difference.
I am not sure what to do next.
My mechanic will have a look at it next week.
Has anyone experienced a similar issue.

    Kind regards.

was it only ESP or id the dash go mad? there is a relay that goes bad and has symptoms similar to the above.
There is a few threads on here about it, i started one a few years back it should have a link tot he one with the relay to change out.
it is a diy job and the relay is cheaper from the dealer at about £15 so worth a punt before someone changes out modules and can bus systems which some did when i looked into it.
    good luck

Thank you for the reply. I will check out the post that you mentioned. There are a few faults showing up on the dash. My mechanic found a 20amp fused popped in the fuse box in the boot area which he replaced. It didn't change anything.
