Quick update gentlemen, ordered a complete 2nd hand assembly including motor from eBay and swapped it out, took just under 2 hours start to finish. Working perfectly, just in time too!!

You walk into an Audi dealer and ask for part number 8H2 955 603 A and hand over £120.24, then they will order in one of the 5 in UK stock for you.

Blimey that’s expensive 😂 no aftermarket versions in RHD ?? Those are like 30-50£

My garage even tried tps and had no joy

Is it worth just grabbing a newer one off a b7 and service it, then use that?

It’s getting a bit dangerous driving if it decides to rain so needs sorting asap

Then either your garage or their TPS are useless as it was Nottingham TPS that checked stock for me...

Got a mate of mine to check , yup tps has it £131.90 plus vat 😂 crikey

Think my garage didn’t fancy the job 😂

Crusher, are the linkages model specific? As I’m looking on eBay ans they all seem to have slightly different part numbers , maybe they are all bent slightly different!? Between models and car spec or engine etc ?

    Mines showing I need 8e2 955 603 C

    For my reg AF02BCE

Can you just confirm that for me mate , because I’ll probably grab a used one at those prices , plus , it’s old new stock right, so be sat on a shelf for 20 years lol might need a service before it goes on anyways 😂
