the satnav CD drive in the RSNE has packed up, repaired before this time it has mangled various plastic parts.
    The car is a 2009.
If I can source and replace the CD drive in it that would fix it but I cant find one yet.
Alternatively a used unit complete but I am unsure about PIN and coding by computers needed??
I think they have a PIN, is this entered manually or by diagnostics?
If a second hand unit is obtained and fitted what is needed to make it work and how.

    Hi,
I had the same issue in my old Q7 a few years ago.
I got a second hand unit and just swapped the circuit board with the one from the old unit, so in-fact only replacing all the mechanical bits and it worked fine.
    Hope this is of help.
