When i bought the car last year i was looking at MPG figures and they said 70mpg which i know you wont get near but what should i be getting.

Am doing 10 miles to work then 10 miles back average 37 mpg (full tank for me 450 miles)
long motorway journey i get 48 mpg (on the read out)

a week after buying the car injector 3 failed and had to be replaced at a cost of around 500 quid
then the dpf went so had that removed and and the egr mapped out also

Am still guessing the figure is no where near sometimes on idle it jiggers abit when first started then clears in a few mins but not every time.

I have changed oil and oil filter and air filter last month. AM thinking of getting rid of it as it seems expensive to run compared to my i old bmw 320D what always got 50 to 65 mpg

ANy advice please
