Where can I find proper diagnostic procedures for the Mk5? As in, if X isn't working, check for 12V on pin Y of connector Z?

I've looked at erWin online, and I couldn't find any actual diagnostic procedures, just installation/removal instructions. There was a sort of tree diagram section, but I couldn't make it show me any actual information.

Specifically I'm trying to work out why the AC compressor isn't kicking on. I know it's got a full gas charge. Next thing would be to look at the high pressure switch to confirm it's working, but I don't know what voltage I should be looking for.
