    Hi All
I hope i'm not being super thick here, I have done the rear pads on a passat before with nos issues. Went to help a mate this evening to change discs and pads on his 2017 (5N) tiguan and i get no response from address 53 Parking brake. I've done the following:
    Hooked up a battery charger
    Cycled EPB on then off
Scanned all modules and cleared an ABS fault (tyre pressure)

However, I get no response from controller when accessing address 53
My VCDS has literally just had an update, might there be a bug?

    Apreciate any help or advice.
You don't know how it works until you take it apart!

The calipers are controlled by the ABS ECU, the function is in the menu.
