    Thanks Crasher.. just had a look at my job sheet, I have 4M0 698 151 T installed, feels quite recent but it was back in 2019!! Not driving it much since, we went into lockdown not long after I had the brakes done... it's crazy how much the price has increased, it was around £130 back then (and diesel was just a few pence above £1)..

    indeed interesting to see the new clips, I hope they are revised to address the noise. I will definitely ask about Pagid T2437 when it's time to replace.

    The main dealer won't use Pagid but an indi specialist may.

    Agree there, got brembo brakes on mine drove me bonkers. In the end took to a garage who wore down the pads a bit and the squealing stopped

    Yes, deglazing, bit of 80 grit and a flat surface. I think that sometimes it is poor bedding in because you can't expect Mr and Mrs Average to know how or want to bed them in and for the installer to do it that's extra labour and fuel use to explain so we just use Pagid for zero problems which is what we need.
