Not sure is the honest answer.... I haven't been to Q5 myself yet, its still at the workshop.

Have asked. (Though web images for that look familiar).

All I know is I have had the vehicle for 2 years now.... in which have done 70,000 miles and it has spent last 5 months of those two years off road. I know I havent replaced battery.

Okay - have it back, finally, after 4 and a half months of delays, frustration..... its like having an old friend back. I have ragged my BMW coupe using it for work so its going to be so nice having the Q5 work beast back. Will make life so much easier.

Its on 203,000 miles. Is 12 years old. Its bodywork and interior are in very good condition. August 2021 it had new clutch and DMF fitted which is why I was insistent on getting it fixed. So it has now had the engine taken part, the top end rebuilt and new camshafts, rocker arms et al and a new monster of a battery. I know it isnt an entirely new engine, but with the level of tinkering it has had it almost should be - pulls great and is running smoother, quieter than it did before.

Should be good for another 2-3 years at least.
