Audi a3 8p coding help

Was wondering if someone can help please.

Background: My audi a3 cluster suddenly died, I tried everything from checking battery ground cables, to changing battery, new key battery, checking fuses, disconnecting battery, checking cluster connection etc. Eventually I took the cluster to be repaired, and soldering was repaired in the cluster. (car would not start, it would start for a second and die)

I plug in the repaired cluster, and it finally powered up, allowing me to start the car successfully. Only problem was, the steering wheel had no power steering, and abs and esp light, and steering wheel light were permanently on. Red steering light and yellow abs and esp.

After playing about on vcds, I changed adaptations on 44 steering assist, at first I cleared the codes and it made no difference. I tried to do the calibrations on the steering wheel (centre, full lock both ways) even drove for 1 hour and no difference. Then randomly I plugged it in again and cleared the codes and finally I had my power steering again!

Unfortunately the abs and esp light is still on. I have tried to do basic settings under 03 for the G85, however it comes up as error each time I select on/off. I don't know if it is an issue with the long coding on the abs, or what the issue could be, could any gurus please give me any ideas to try on vcds? Maybe it needs a new code?

Unfortunately don't have any old codes. I have driven the car for 30 miles, even tried the steering left to right full lock, however no success.

I could have sworn that code read showed incorrect coding on the instruments when I read it? It was only 6pm so it can’t have been alcohol
