How could I tell its the DPF "going wrong"? The garage is going to have disposed of the old one and it was cleaned out anything so would throw errors

Clues are repetitive excessive pre DPF pressure readings, carrying out a forced regen and watching the figure drop below 5% only for it to go back upto 30% after starting again and random boost issues I had a T6 in the other day where the SCR unit was clearly blocked but the owner was having no of it because “I have had VW’ for years and they never go wrong”… de-nile is not a river in Egypt

Wanted to give some closure to this thread. Car got to the point of no longer running, it would start and cutout immediately. Took a while as first garage I got towed to were too busy to look at it so had to tow to another place a couple of weeks later.

DPF had completely blocked, reason was the place that had put the map to standard hadn't!! Got that sorted at another tuning location, got DPF replaced under warranty fortunately and since then car has been running with a good 300-400 miles and have seen a DPF regen occur. Still have an issue that I saw before all this so will look at another thread for that
