    Default Golf headlight connector – 21-02-2022,08:22 PM
    Hi All,

    I'm wondering if someone could help me. I was replacing my headlight bulbs (H1) on my 1.4 Golf MK4 when the below black connector thingy broke and I stupidly threw it away.
    I need a replacement but I don't know what it's called!

    H1 is the main beam, dipped is H7. VW don't list it as a spare, you can but the cap and harness for Valeo manufactured units but for Hella they are obsolete. You can but the cover from VW but it is hidden away, the part number is 211 971 921 and it is £3.16, the 211 prefix shows it has been in use for decades, as far back as a 1977 Audi 100 but 211 means type 2 T2 transporter, confusing, for me anyway.
