Hi everyone. I have a audi a3 2010 automatic (8pa). My car jerks when I change gear from neutral to drive or reverse to neutral even i don't release the brake pedal. I think gear does not engage first time. It engages at 3rd attempt. After pulling off there is no problem. It is smoothly changing between gears.
Do you think the problem is Mechatronic?

There are two versions neither of which are traditional automatic boxes, the DQ200 seven speed dry clutch DSG and the DG250 six speed wet clutch DSG, both of which are automated manuals and both very different from each other; and then there is the all wheel drive version.

    Thanks for your reply.
It is 6 speed. I didn't noticed this stuttering behaviour before. My mechanic said Mechatronic unit that pushes gear has worn and in a few months i will get for other gear changes also. I am not satisfied with his assumption though

No, to me that is the clutch pack, DQ250 mechatronic failure is frankly very rare, unlike with the D200 which is a pile of poo.
