    Hello all,

it looks like, based on some ads I have seen, it is now possible to activate the SQ7 sport layout in a Q7 4M even after the initial 100km.

Does anyone know how to do it?

    Regards

I have looked into this a little bit, it is possible but not widely available.. The current solution requires a specialist tool to be plugged into the car so the code can be ran remotely, and there's only a few of the tools around from the original developer. They were being shipped around the world. The developer charges several hundreds USD for the service (plus when it's done, you are responsible to ship the tool to the next customer on the list). Given the car is aging, don't think there is enough demand for a more convenient solution.

That is my understanding as well, thanks. This "update" also leave a couple of errors in the system after it is implemented.

The sport layout looks nice, however what I would really love to see is a dedicate "night" layout with minimalistic information in the virtual cockpit and preferably red/orange colours. Saab implemented this on their cars back in 1993 as a "Night Panel". Once activated, by pressing a single button, the entire console when almost dark with only some minimal info available, see below. Also, what puzzles me a bit is Audi's decision to change the backlit colour of the buttons from red to white. Red is so much better for driving at night.

    Anyway, I digress...
