Well we got the sensor out and a new one refitted just ended up taking the oil filter housing off to get a bit more room

The plug for the crank sensor has cracked though so I’d like to replace it, anyone know where to source the correct plug?

    Part number: 07d973703

Only seems to be on eBay Germany with no uk shipping

£12.98 + VAT from any VAG dealer or TPS BUT you will either have to use the special extractor tools to disconnect the primary and secondary locking of the terminal without damaging them or buy the VAG repair wires plus the silicon seals and connect them up to the harness.
