    Can you change the gear knob easily?...do they just unscrew or pull off?...the leather has worn on mine.

    As an update to this I bought a surprisingly cheap unit from Ebay for £15 not expecting much it was actually very good quality. Then found a YouTube video showing how to fit and hay presto job done.

    So if your gear knob is looking a bit scruffy would recommend doing this easy DIY swap.
