Help please, a6 2.0tdi engine issue

Hi, this is my first post (first time ive had an audi)

I recently purchased a 2007 57 a6 2.0tdi saloon, its on 179k, so high miles but seems to be mint condition, done approx 1k miles in it without a problem but now in the last week or so I've noticed a noise from the engine around the belt area, and a slight burning smell.

Im worried about the oil pump failure issue so i was wanting to see if anyone couod point me in the right direction. Ive took a video of the noise ro tey and help identify the issue. Any help would be great.

Ive had it plugged into a cheap code handheld code scanner but that doesn't show any codes.

I've got a video clip of the noise but not sure how to add it to this post..?

The oil pump issue would not present itself like that, your description points to a cam belt or poly V belt drive problem.
