    Hello everyone, again )
fighting with a problem, which appeared after changed the egr cooler with an aftermarket, and didn't disappeared after EGR cooler (and valve) replacement with an original and new one.

Exhaust is really blowing, like some1 turned a fan ON, you can dry clothes...

Once you add some RPM, it's blowing harder, and i hear it when driving, especially on 4-5-6 gears and uphill...
The air is coming from the exhaust like from a storm. (It's DRY air, no oil or anything else)... With open back windows on 4000 RPM i hear it like im going to fly.

It feels like the consumption raised with 0,6-0,8L/100km (but it maybe from the R16 winter wheels)

IMPORTANT: it is not blowing all the time, it's i think 70%-80% of time. Sometimes it's normal blow, like usually.

P.S. It is blowing only AIR, no smoke or anything else.

    Video with the problem:

No idea on the noise sorry. However is it possible that there is a problem with DPF, exhaust system after all the contamination from the failed EGR unit?

Check the two DPF pressure sensors to see if they have liquid in the pipes.

Are all connections tight and no air being drawn in from the engine bay?

    HI Itsrainman.
The sound appeared in the first 3-5 minutes after i took my car from the shop that changed the EGR cooler with an aftermarket one. (I didn't have this "blowing exhaust" before, im 100% sure, i'm like crazy when it's about my car, looking for new sounds everyday :-D )

There should be liquid in the pipes? (it is good when they have liquid or not? )

Don't know if all connections are tight, what i could check by myself i checked and feels like everything is tight...

Just wondering... can it be the exhaust flap? ))
sorry, i've just payed twice for the same work (and almost same parts) and still have a problem which i didn't have before, and it's killing me

I tried to find the problem by myself, but the sound is not constant, for example: if i'm on idle and push the accelerator to 1300-1500-2000-2500 RPM , the exhaust is starting blowing like crazy first ±2 seconds and then stops, even if i keep pushing the accelerator there is no blowing sound) and if i leave it on idle and do the same procedure again, i get the same result (that test was on 0km/h).
BUT, when i'm driving on 3-4+ gears and pushing the accelerator, it's almost constant (maybe 90% of the times) crazy blowing (with the sound) from the exhaust.

Funny thing, when i'm in a curbe (accelerating), the sound is not that loud.

I talked to them (first guys who changed with the aftermarket part) already, and they do not care, they said it's not their fault... like "you put an aftermarket part and there is no warranty for it, even if you replaced than with an original one, the aftermarket part could broke something" and bla bla bla...
Before i take to the second shop i'm trying to find some info about it, because i feel like i'll hear something like "get back to the shop you changed first part" and so on )
The best for me is to find something on the net.

Here is another video with my problem (my video):

Last egr cooler i swapped in a q5 had little hairline cracks in the steel egr pipes, might be that?

If it is pure air then it must be coming from the boost side of the turbo ( between the turbo/ intercooler/ inlet manifold ) which can leak under pressure when the engine is working harder.

I'm guessing some of this pipework must have been disturbed while changing the EGR & something has been left loose causing an air leak.
Could just be that one of the air pipes/ intercooler has developed a split or leak.

It will need checking carefully to find the leak.
Someone keep pressing the throttle on/ off & someone else looking/ listening for the leak.
