    Hi folks,
    Ive got a 2015 A6 3.0 tdi Quattro.

my adblue faultlight came on 3 or 4 weeks ago with the 650 miles countdown. We ran Vcds and got the reductant pressure low message.
On removing the delivery tube and switching on the ignition the fluid duly flowed as expected, but still the warning light remains on after we reconnected it.
I put it into our local Audi dealership (with the hope of a software fix, as the pump was obviously functioning) but when it got there they found the adblue pipe disconnected, with the adblue over the rear part of the engine. They then diagnosed the pipe connector as being faulty, and said it needed to be replaced before further investigations (if needed) could take place. Trouble is the cost of changing the pipe is £706.
As the warning came on before the pipe problem, and I drove the car for approx 200 miles before the pipe came off the injector, I think it’s unlikely that the pipe is the problem? I think it might be the pump, but if one adds the cost of a pump replacement to the previous work, it adds up to around £2k.
ive booked a remap for Monday to attempt to get around this problem, but does anyone have any suggestions as to what would be best to do?
I don’t want to get into a load more pain with problems from a remap adblue removal, but I can’t see a way forward by keeping the system as is.

    thanks in advance

    Ian

Doing things like removing the reduction system is why the government have proposed heavy handed legislation which will not only criminalise the act of use but the act of sale and installation, see page 11 https://assets.publishing.service.go...nt-version.pdf
