    Good afternoon,
I'm new to Audi's so excuse my ignorance.
    I have a 2003 3.0 cabriolet.
All has been good but recently the central locking, roof, windows have stopped working.
Warning lights have come on but are sporadic, airbag light, an orange warning light.
I have looked at the door wiring and it seems ok.
I have looked at the plugs and CCM and cleaned all contacts.
There is no water in the footwell.
Can i open the CCM module to see if there is damage inside?
Do you have any ideas or is it a matter of getting a replacement CCM.
Mine has a part number of 8HO959433D, i have seen others with 8EO so they i assume are compatible but is the D relevant or just a date identifier?
    Thanks in advance.

    Jack

8H0 means it is cabrio specific. The roof itself is controlled by its own ECU called J256 but is commanded by the convivence system J393. 8H0 959 433 D chnaged to 8H0 959 433 F, then H, K and finally M which is £402.02. A new J393 is not a plug and play fit, it has to be coded to the cars spec and then matched to the remote control. The most common problems we see are split wiring in the boot hinges harness or water logged J393 but trying to fix this without a diagnostic system will be difficult.

I know other code readers will do it but I use VCDS and a lot of companies (and individuals) own this and should be able to code and match a used unit quickly.
