    15 months in from new , still getting warning lights and beeps, my family and me will not be buying a vw again, you may be ok,but you should not go into buying a new car thinking if you going to have issues .

    I know the thread is old and you probably have already bought a car that you wanted. But maybe this will help someone else - I've gathered almost everything I could about the 1.5 eTSI hoping to understand if the engine really suits my needs and if it's really better than the TSI. I eventually chose the Tiguan with the TDI engine partially because what I learned in the process, partially because in Ukraine, you buy what's in stock now - no one is going to deliver a car with a certain engine for you, at least within a senible period of time. So, I've written an article about the engine - maybe someone will find it helpful: the article
