Well we used the B&M Premium units and after three under warranty, gave up and repaired the damaged thread on the original (which thankfully the scrap man had not taken) had DPF Clean Team clean it, did a regen and it has been fine for the last four years, we flatly refuse to fit aftermarket DPF's no matter what.

In your first post you stated " a bit of history of the car 2.0tdi BRE engine, the head was changed to a regenerated one ".

Did the new head come ready to install or did you transfer your original parts to a refurbished head?

Reason I ask is that I understand the camshaft for a DPF engine is different to a non DPF engine.

If the wrong camshaft is fitted it won't be able to regen the DPF.
