    Electronic retro fits are not really my thing, I have dabbled with them but found people are reluctant to pay what they cost to do correctly and are always experiencing problems. If you look at the product support section on the Ross Tech forum, retro fit problems are just one after the other with people trying to use second hand parts with VIN security protection and other compatibility issues. If I do them they are proper genuine kits where the diagnostic system ODIS is used to enter serial numbers and action codes provided in the kit but the costs are high.

    Following on from Crasher's post, I'll mention that Andy Hudson (andyhud007) who often posts over on the Q7-4M board in this forum is an experienced retrofitter. It might be worth dropping him a PM or contacting him through his website audiupgrades.co.uk. He's based near to Gatwick, so not too far from you in Shoreham-by-Sea. He's a great chap - there are many testimonials to the quality of his work if you browse the Q7-4M board.
