Hi I’m a new to the site,I have an issue with the boot lock on my Passat it won’t open with the fob or the white plastic lever on the lock itself ? I’ve already bought a new lock to replace it but I can’t open the boot to change it !! I’ve tried tapping the lock itself but that hasn’t helped ?? Please help 😄

You have to take the liner out from inside and release the lid. This is usually caused by the wiper motor dripping water onto the mechanism
