Fans of retrofit Good evening. Has anyone installed the opening of the trunk by moving the foot? (Kick-Open so to speak)

Can be done, but depends on what version BCM is fitted to your car? An the year of your car. I know the earlier versions of the BCM can not support this option as its part of the advanced key system. not much extra hardware is needed.

I read that you mount the Soft close for the doors. Is there an adaptation to be made to the door control units? Thanks

You should be fine for it to work in yours. When its installed you will the see the additional module in channel 46 :
    Subsystem 6 - Part No SW: 3AA 962 243 D HW: 3AA 962 243 D
    Component: GEB.F.Heckoef H16 0811
    Serial number: 93757033
my coding for 46 is : 013F0E22A0B93895C33009840E03124F000000000000000000 0000000000 iirc there is an option in there for the hands free opening

Power door closure has an coding change in one of the modules 46 or 09 and or the door modules tooi cant remember as its been a long time. No adaptation channels need to be altered.

Thanks, it's very kind of you. If only it could be done in detail for the soft close it would be perfect.

Checking the Bytes of the door control unit, I noticed something like "soft-close" in Byte 2-Bit 3. Would you have a way to check if that Bit has an activation tick? Thanks!
