    Hello friends,
a question about the graphic representation of the obstacles in the MMI during parking maneuvers.

I've understood that the RED lines/arcs correspond to the obstacles distance to the car, the WHITE ones have the same meaning of the RED but for the objects that are out the maneuver zone (i.e. I'm moving forward: the obstacles in the front of the car are RED and the ones in the back are WHITE).

    ...BUT..

What's the meaning for the empty symbols ??? (Empty symbols are the RED/WHITE lines/arcs that are represented only with outlines)

    Thank you,
    Enrico

Not sure what you are seeing. I only have the red and white symbols, the red arc and light grey blocks that show the area covered by each sensor. Can you provide a picture? Also do you have the standard park distance solution or do you have the Park Assistant Plus which identifies potential parking spaces and provides assisted parking?

Ok so you have Park Assistant Plus which gives you 360 degree coverage by the sensors and the ability for the car to help you park. The grey trapezium shapes show the area covered by each sensor, the red lines show where you are approaching an obstacle, the white lines show an obstacle but you are not currently getting closer to it and the red arcs define the path the front of the vehicle will take based on where the wheels are pointing

    Hope that helps

I don’t have PDC Plus but would assume that is how it displays obstacles at the side of the car

I don't think so because they appear also in the front and in the back. I'm assuming that they may display the obstacles that are moving away and the filled one the obstacles that are approaching... (??)
