Time for a set of new tyres. 20 inch Rotors. 255 35 R20 Y’s. What’s the latest best choices, with a nod to value for money. Used Costco in the past. Last had Eagle F1 Assymetric 2’s which have been good all rounders. Any help appreciated.

Thanks for replies guys. Think I would prefer to go for new set rather than used.

The rain sport are a good recommendation and I shall research them.. I’m presume they will be good choice for a west coast of Scotland winter!

I was looking at Bridgestone turanzas T005’s? But have no experience of them. ?

I’ve been running a set of these and really rate them. Only comment would be that the shoulder overlap isn’t massive so you need to be careful or you’ll scuff your alloys if close to kerbs when parking

Eventually went for Michelin Pilot Sport 4S’s Set of 4 for £580. Tire type is all a bit subjective I think.

Choose tyres for the conditions and environment you will be driving. PS4's would be good for warm sunny track use, fast driving etc. Lots of great videos on Tyre Reviews on Youtube.

Not sure PS4S would be the best choice for cold wet Scotland ?

UUHP tyres like Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport and MPS4S prioritise dry handing and when a tyre handles very well in the dry it doesn't in the wet .

In the YouTube video of the tyrereviews 14 UHP tyres inc some UUHP test the insanely stiff sidewalled Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport came first but when it comes to some Bon Jovi..

    Dry handling

    1st Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport
    3rd MPS4S
    5th MPS4
    8th Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5

    Wet handling

    1st MPS4
    5th Goodyear Eagle F1 Asymmetric 5
    8th MPS4S
    12th Goodyear Eagle F1 Supersport

All size choice availability dependant .
