    I am surprised i dont know this one, anyway my rear door lock is in safe mode so i cant open the door. I have been on Ewrin but cant see how to get door open to replace the lock.

    If the catch is jammed, there is no approved method for releasing it, the only method is pure butchery. We used to get this a lot on the Passat 3B but we don’t see many of those any more. The worst is the Golf 5 as after removing the door panel you are greeted with a steel panel that you cannot remove… at least on the Golf 6 there is a little access from behind but it is often still necessary to cut the panel and weld the section back in after.
    Anthropogenic climate change, the biggest con inflicted on mankind since religion...
