Our 2013 242 Allroad has covered 91K miles and recently I've noticed a slight issue with gear changes whereby the revs rise by 200 / 400 rpm before the next gear engages. It doesn't happen with every change and tends to happen more when the upshifts are occurring during gentle driving.

Could this be a sign of impending clutch failure or wear? The gearbox has had two oil changes at the correct 38K mile intervals.

I cannot help with the answer but given that I've got the same engine/gearbox combo on the 2013 car with similar mileage and service history, very keen to stay up to date on this.
Have you scanned it? Any particular codes? Also, I remember seeing some items pertinent to the status of the clutch when browsing through the OBDeleven readouts. Would be good to know if there are any parameters worth checking...
Lastly, if anyone is in the know, would gearbox "reset" (un-learning) help?

A good way near to needing another oil change so get that done first.

But it had an oil change 15K miles ago at 76K.

Apart from a code read there is little else you can do and there is always the possibility the last oil change was incorrectly carried out, something that the mechanic can check for if they can be bothered.
