I'm looking to change my 18 inch alloys now the tyres are getting low and have seen some 19 inch rotors that seem the right offset and size.

Only thing is they have 245/40/19 tyres on them, am I right in thinking I would need 255/40/19?

    Thanks

Look on your tyre pressure chart in the fuel flap, it generally covers the options range for wheel sizes on the car.

I assume your current tyres are 240/45/18, not 19 as you wrote above. To keep approximately the same rolling radius, you should fit 245/35R19.

    Hi Chriseybaby,

Could you confirm that your question is in regard to the car in your signature line - a C6 A6 3.0 TDi Le Mans.

You have posted in a C7 forum and will receive some very confusing replies if your car is a C6.

Sorry my signature is out of date, I’ve got a 2014 a6 3.0 tdi

According to my 2014 brochure the optional 19" Audi wheels would have left the factory with 255/40 R19 tyres. However the 245/40 RF19 will fit just fine and give you a more accurate speedo reading.
