    Just had the message on the dash to say need a top up, car has done around 10,500 miles, what mileage is everyone else seeing?

    Is that the message that tells you you should top up with at least 10 litres the next time you refuel? I saw that not that long ago, around the 19,000 mark just before my S7 went in for its first service.

    But, and it’s a big but, I don’t think my AdBlue was full when I picked the car up. Since I have owned the vehicle, including that most recent top up, I have used 3 x 10 litre containers of AdBlue and the car want full when I used the last one.

    One contributing factor here I guess is that I tend to drive everywhere in Dynamic Sport mode and have a heavy’ish right foot

    I'm getting about 14000 miles but I don't do much city driving. Both times, I bought 20 litres and put in 15l and then the other 5 a couple of months later.
    Current- A6 C8 40 tdi quattro s line Daytona Grey
    Gone-S3 sportback, A6 C7 biturbo saloon,A4 B 8.5 avant, A6 C6 3.0 tdi Quattro saloon, A6 C5 2.8 Q Avant

    Thanks for the replies, in the end filled up at a petrol station, very easy auto stop worked very clean no drips hose fits the nozzle exactly would not look to do it any other way going forward.
