Ah OK thanks, I'll just leave it. Just wanted to show the plastic boost pipe that comes down from the turbo has split both sides and air is pouring out when I test it with compressed air so I think that's my problem. Decided to take off all of the other boost pipes and check them and all the others seem good.

Problem is I snapped off one of the retaining clips for the pipes so now I need a new one and a new pipe before I can drive it really, oops.

I would have liked to replace it with a metal one really but I'm not sure ones from other models are compatible I think ill just go for a brand new one as I can see it being a common issue with used plastic pipes.

Back again, fixed the boost leak but unfortunately it hasn’t solved all of my problems, just feels like the turbo is slow to start pulling once you get higher in the Rev range it starts pulling well but low end is just not good.

When I rev the engine standing still it makes the owl type noise especially when letting off the accelerator and the revs drop. I’ve heard a lot of people saying this noise is normal but others saying it’s the turbo that’s bad, I checked the refurbished turbo for shaft play before I put it on and it felt pretty good very minimal play and no damage to the blades.

I’m just concerned that I’ll end up swapping the turbo again and it will still be the same..
