I had my bumper off to sort out parking senors dodgy screws and brackets. When i was the vents on either side where sealed up so in my wisdom i removed the covers.
As the title suggests I am now a bit soggy behind the rear lights.

I could simply seal these back up but surely the car did no do this from the factory - the flaps where not flat, very thinner than a sheet of paper and seemed to have some sort of body shoots on them or something.

Having not priced new ones yet should i seal them back up or replace them?
going by 7 zap these are the seals- 4F0 864 731 which don't seem to be readily available on line.

OK so update - both the drivers and passengers side have seen better days - but only the passengers side is wet, so i dug a bit more. there is a 29mm hole below on the floor below these which someone has badly siliconed a cap on, i wonder if water could get above the heat shield for the exhaust?
I will seal this up better until i get a proper cap for it and see what happens.
