Hi all, recently bought a ‘21 A6 Allroad, and had the warning
symbol below come on a few times after starting. Goes out after a few seconds, but not sure if this is a fault or for info, can anyone advise?
    many thanks.

On my S7 I get it in white I think. I believe it is just a check phase especially if it goes out.

If it’s just after starting the car and goes out within a few seconds, it’s likely to be a check.

Thanks guys, but just to clarify, it seems to come on randomly, not every time, and when it goes off it is well after all the other warning lights. Maybe 5 - 10 secs.

    Sounds similar.

By example, if I get the car out of the garage; turn off and leave a couple of mins (eg get the kids out of the house and into the car) and start up again, loads of warnings go mad - that symbol plus camera obscured, adaptive lighting fault, etc. Just doesn’t like being stopped/started within a couple of mins.

If your worried, could be worth getting an OBD11 dongle and the app to scan for faults.

Great, thanks for explanation. I do have some ‘wild’ sunflowers down the side of my driveway, maybe they’re the problem! Just wasn’t sure of the ‘strategy’ for illuminating the light.
