Hi, I’ve had this problem with my car which has been getting progressively worse as time goes on. Under load it missfires quite badly however it doesn’t throw a code up on vcds. The injector figures all look good and there’s no stutter or judder on idle. The previous owner deleted the dpf and remapped the car, which I am now starting to think it could be a dodgy map. I have swapped the tandem pump, changed the fuel filter and swapped the injectors out from another car with new o-rings and bolts and still has made no difference. If one of the new second hand injectors had an issue I’ve heard they usually throw up a code, so I think this is unlikely. I’ve also swapped the injector loom out and this has made no difference. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

    cheers.

Yeah I think that’s going to be the next step. I recorded map specified and map actual earlier under full load and it’s demanding and producing 2600 mbar of boost (2.6 bar / 37 psi) which seems way too much. I believe stock is supposed to be around 21 psi. No idea if it’s had a bigger turbo fitted, but that pressure seems far to high for a stock pd turbo.

Sounds a lot, never been a fan of remapping stuff, never runs perfect and puts too much stress on things as people get carried away.
