    Just had my abs light and traction light come on.

    Vcds scan shows fault code as 00290 abs wheel speed sesnor rear left (g46) 30-00 open or short to plus

    check measuring blocked and it stay on 1 even when moving.

    ive looked at the part number and its 8E0 927 807 B what does the letter at the end mean is it suppose to be B or G

    car is a audi a4 1.9tdi 54 plate engine code BKE

    Mine is pre facelift so the one in the link won’t be compatible. Will have to get the B one.

    whats the difference in the actual parts b and g ??

    When I check online for the G version it says it’s compatible with my car and when I check the B version it’s says it not so a bit confused know

    For my 53 plate it was 8E0927807B

    Full gory details at Rear wheel speed sensor issues

    The Bosch part number for the part I got was 0 265 006 681

    Finally got the abs sensor changed.

    Also changed the rear wheel bearing as well it was making a slight noise and i though might as well because it would give better access to the sensor and i knew the bolt would be seized.

    The bolt was seized solid had to drill and tap it out but in the end all good.

    bearing part no:8E0598611C

    bolt part no:N014704

    Bosch abs sensor part no:0265006681

    The abs sensor that i took off had the part number 8E0927807G i thought it would be B as mine is pre face lift anyway the bosch sensor works fine.
