So ive got a 2011 mk6 golf with the 1.6tdi, it doesnt boost as “hard” as it used to and feels sluggish pulling away.

I drove a couple other vehicles with the same engine and my golf just feels slow compared to them.

Im going for mapping in a week but want to get the most power i can out of her and i dont want to have issues if something is wrong.

Any ideas what is the issue?

Don't go too far with the mapping, it causes the DPF to clog faster than normal and remember the CAYC is not a strong engine nor is the clutch.
