Just venting really, but my 2017 Q7 S-line PCP is up in November, and it looks like to keep the HUD and the sunroof on a new Q7 (both of which my current car has) the only option is the Vorsprung at approx £20k more than an S-line! ***? How have those of you in a similar situation handled this? Have you just swallowed the cost uptick and tried not to think about it?

So annoying. Hard to shake the feeling that Audi is screwing its customers. :-(

    It’s silly isn’t it…

From memory the associated deals and discounts help to reduce the cost to change but I decided the existing car does everything I need well and no need to change…so didn’t. Extended the warranty, bought the service pack when it was on offer and happy days

It's absolutely crazy, I had a q7 black edition with a load of extras (6 months ago they offered the panoramic sun roof as an option on black) ready to order for around 60k then I realise I forgot the HUD. Figured no issue I just add that for probably a grand but no....thats an extra ~15k but you will get full lether and massage chairs!!

What is even more crazy is I saw the vorsprung car I almost bought, 1 owner (1 months old, 2k miles) come up in approved used and they wanted 5k more than I could get it new from them! when I pointed this out they gave me some flannel that I could walk in off the street and pay less than they did for their sales directors car. I suggested that if they guaranteed to buy it from me after 1 month, I would order a new one every month and sell it to them at my cost! surprisingly they havent called me back to confirm the deal!

Right. Did you have to extend/refinance a PCP?

My local dealer yesterday offered very little incentive to take a new car - they were pretty open about it, saying that currently the supply chain issues combined with demand going nuts means that they have far more customers than cars.

A few people I know with 17 plates have been offered a 6 month extension to pcp interest free if they are ordering a new one. you have to donthe direct with Audi finance.
As for more customers that cars, I almost laughed myself off the chair! They are still offering 8-15% off a new one via carwow so that seems unlikely! that said wait time see to be up to 5/6 months now.
