    Hello,

I recently found a small defect in the paint on my car. Looks like the paint has peeled off (maybe due to bumps / stones). What is surprising to me is that there is a black layer / coating visible under the paint (car's color is is Typhoon Gray). I've always assumed that the primer is white, because with some small scratches usually white colour was showing up...

At first I thought that maybe the defect is just some poor repair in service, with a bit of black paint, but it's easy to feel under the fingernail that it's deeper than the area of the base colour (grey metallic). Also you can see a tiny black spot a bit higher as well...

    Thank you for your advice!$_59.jpg

Think you may have gone past the primer and showing the antirust protection below the paint
