I had the same issiue last year when i bought the car, but it went away when the weather got colder, but now its warmer agian its back. Yes, the reduced current draw of LED's can cause this problem as can a poorly fitted or cheap aftermarket switch, is the switch genuine and did you fit it pedal up or down?

Oem switch and pushed down the pedal. I think i found the problem, it was with the led lights and a very bad wiring job.

The switch, if the OE design, must be fitted with the pedal up in the rest position as if installed pedal down, as you release the pedal it destroys the switch.
