    I have a 90K 2005 SE 9n3 1.2 3cyl

the suspension is great - it soaks up rough roads and pot holes as good as my 2019 Passat!

but other times (cornering) if feels too soft and wallowy

I was thinking about replacing the rear shocks and Springs - but wondered if there are any HD springs I can use on the back?

I don't want to lower it.

    Thoughts?

You could use the factory sports springs, many of which are available from Suplex for much less than genuine. Mrs Crasher has a 2006 Polo 9N3 GTI and the ride plus roll stiffness of the factory system is bordering on being like an aftermarket coil over kit, much stiffer and jittery than even my Octavia VRS which is FULLY Powerflexed with Koni Active dampers, Eibach springs and a thicker front anti roll bar. If you message me the REG and I work out some ideas based on the factory PR codes.

I would fit the stiffer 20mm front anti roll bar 6Q0 411 305 AN which is £90.28 retail from a VW dealer but to stiffen the rear is a lot more involved as you have to fit the GTI rear axle 6Q0 500 051 BC which is £701.48 and quite involved to install. In addition, an ST spring and damper kit with Powerflex bushes in the front wishbones.
