Rattle at start-up? Timing Chain?

Was there any recall in UK ?

Just to update on this timing chain rattle issue I had back in the summer.

I took it to the dealers, the tech thought it needed new chain tensioner. This was £2500 and needed after-market warranty engineer to sign off the work. Engineer checked the car the next day and said "Could also be Camshaft, take the engine out, replace camshaft and put new chain on and we'll contribute towards it" (£5600 total, warranty paid first £4k so I was left with a £1.6k bill)

Dealer had car for 10wks whilst they were waiting for engine mounting kit to become available. I had brand new A8 and Q7 to drive around in. Car is back with no rattles (at the moment).

Must say, my old 65 plate is a nicer place to be than the new frustrating touch screen things - just a simple act like dimming the display when it gets dark is a dangerous faff. Old Q7 rode better and had better mpg too. Miss the A8 and it's easy 50mpg on long runs though.
