Hi all i notice the dipstick has has o rings on the top, i assume this is to make a seal, just a little question, after checking my oil level and replacing it, i was expecting it to feel very snug as i inserted the dip stick , in other words having to apply a little pressure the last little bit, but it goes in pretty easy without any sort of resistance, would this be correct or you think i need to go to the dealer . I am proberly being silly

Looked at mine today, it's on a 1.5 tsi Style 150. There are two small rubber o-rings on the plastic part of the stick which hold it quite snug. It goes in very easily but doesn't waggle about when fully in.
