    Happened with my old S7 which was the main reason I got an S9 so not handset specific. Hasn't happened for a while and suddenly had 3 drop out s in as many weeks. Used it today and 30 satellite's showed up in a few seconds so it's an intermittent fault.

    I assume you always have a clear view of the sky and are not below sky scrapers or mobile phone masts?

    I made reference in 3 posts the phone was on the dashboard or next to an open window. I didn't also state that there was a also a clear view of the sky as I assumed this would be obvious.
