    this polo has been in the family for 10 years and the air con has never worked so before I get the pressure tested in 3 weeks I would like to corrcet these faults

    Can anyone show and tell me where to look and what to test for these 2 Faults

    Apart friom this the car scans clear!

    Thanks Crasher - you were spot on

    amazingly for the first time in 7 years the air con is working like new. Although it makes me wonder where it all went.

    Its made it feel like a new car!!!

    Next job is soft wallowy suspension!!

    The pressure senders are a known leak point, was it replaced with the new multiple updated version? The motor flap issue you quoted won’t have been address with this; it won’t stop the AC working but will reduce its ultimate cooling ability in extreme conditions as it will not allow the system to draw in and recirculate already cooled air plus the recirculation in reverse function is lost. They are a bit of a laceration of the arms and hands job though, usually drawing blood.
