He he , tried and long term tested this one...

Approval is a marketing decision so that the oil may be sold at a higher price but the producer / blender might not be high volume or wishes to supply high volume to another market .

Have you ever heard of the American oil analysis company...

And how much is an oil change from a dealer or independent?

hshah, how much did you pay for your 2015 biturbo? I ask because I would not want kwikfit work on my 2010 3.0tdi. Seek out an Audi specialist so you get an expert doing the work and some expert advise on how best to keep you car going strong. Kwikfit are not Audi experts. But great for Audi tyres.

That's a fair bit of money and its a bloody expensive machine if it goes wrong. Spending an extra few quid on using a specialist will be money well spent. You need to build up a relationship with a local specialist. Kwikfit can only do basic stuff. I service cars now and again to raise money for charity and I always go the extra mile for my regular customers. That's the relationship you need to build up with a local company near you.

Surely it will be fine as long as they use Audi approved oil?

They confirmed that over the phone, but I will be making sure when I am there.
