So both my Audi Connect Navigation and Remote Services licenses have expired, car is now over 3yrs old. I've been told I have to renew, costs are are £164 and £37 for 12 months respectively. I've renewed that latter. But I'm not too keen on the former especially as I read the Audi will not be supporting Google services moving forward (or vice versa)! I particularly liked the Google search for an address rather than typing in the post code etc, I can't do that anymore as I get a 'License Expire' error!

I thought if I put my own data sim it would work but I still get the same error, so I'm thinking it's not related to renewing the license and more to do with the Audi/Google issue? Has anyone else had these issues?

There are two components to consider here, the connection and the ability to access the various data components. Without subscribing to Connect Navigation you cannot get access to the things like traffic data and google maps. I think remote services are things like on W the news and weather feed. Changing how you connect from using the built in eSIM to a phone will not make a difference as that is only handling how you connect not what you connect to.

Also those with C7s who lost Google maps now seem to have it back so not sure Audi are now dropping Google

I'm going to be in the same boat from the end of the month.

    How did you get on?
